Strawn's continued real estate related activities, primarily the acquisition of value add commercial real estate properties with an emphasis on retail or strip shopping centers, as well as, the placement of institutional, friends and family private equity investments.  Sandmar related entities own or manage retail strip shopping centers, net leased properties, apartments, self storage, student housing, golf courses, funeral homes, commercial and residential land.

Sandmar Properties is currently seeking to acquire value added shopping center opportunities.  We will purchase out right or consider joint venture structures with existing owners.  We prefer mismanaged or underperforming second generation centers having great locations within growth corridors.  Existing vacancy a plus.  We prefer all cash transactions but will consider cash above favorable debt.  Sandmar Properties will also consider individual assets and/or portfolio opportunities.  We will also consider unique off market opportunities to acquire dominant stabilized assets in great locations.
